Health 2.0 London Chapter

In Feb 2012, I founded the Health 2.0 London Chapter, now one of 70 Health 2.0 Chapters around the globe. We started with 5 people in a pub in London discussing health technology. As of March 2014, the group has grown to over 600 members! The group is extremely diverse with pharma, academia, the NHS, startups, doctors, designers and investors attending our regular events. This is definitely a unique community in the UK!

In 2013 alone, we have held monthly events covering:

Care Homes

Privacy and security of patient data

Social Media

Dementia

Parkinson's Disease

Information Obesity

Mobile Health Sensors

End of Life Care

3D Printing

We do our best to curate each event like a mini TED conference, and aim to start each event with a talk from a patient, followed by industry experts and demos from startups. The aim of the Chapter is to build a grassroots community in London which can lead to new ideas, new collaborations and new startups!

Read what members are saying about our events here. We do not charge members to attend events, we rely on sponsorship to cover the cost of venues.

If you'd like to sponsor a future event, have a suggestion for a future topic, or simply want to join the group and meet like minded innovators, we encourage you to join the Chapter.

[Note: As of March 2014, I have stepped down as Health 2.0 London Chapter Leader]
